DESIGN STRATEGIES
Re-defining the main pedestrian axis and the main neighborhood’s gathering spaces in order to enhance the possibility of social interaction.

Central courtyard in all scales, from private backyards or balconies to semi-private vicinity-yards, semi-public vicinity gathering spaces and public gathering spaces all shaped with local masonry and openings which represents the traditional urban texture.

Vicinity spaces has been shaped in order to embed the human scale in the design, making the inhabitants feel more safe and secure.

Shaded areas with trees and water are designed all over the neighborhood in order to protect the inhabitants from the direct sunlight, which in Tehran’s climate guarantees that the Neighborhood will function lively even through hot summer days.
